Core Contributor Onboarding
When onboarding a new Core Contributor, copy the following to-do list into a GitHub issue on the special_contributions repository with the title “Onboarding <Name>” and the following content:
The following tasks are required for CC onboarding. Please check each off as they are completed. When all have been completed, have the core contributor verify that they see all of the changes and have the expected access, and then close the issue upon confirmation. - [ ] Announce that the user has been accepted on their nomination thread, if this hasn't been done already - [ ] Add user to the [Core Contributor List](https://wiki.tari.com/core_contributors:current_ccs) - [ ] After adding them to the list, create the relevant pages via the links in the table. - [ ] If the user does not have a wiki account, create one for them - [ ] Add the user to the 'core_contributor' group on [the wiki](https://wiki.tari.com/start?do=admin&page=usermanager) - [ ] If the user does not have a forum account, have them register and report back the user account. - [ ] Update the user's profile on the [Core Contributor List](https://wiki.tari.com/core_contributors:current_ccs) list to include the usernames for the forum and wiki if not already present. - [ ] Add the user to the 'Core Contributors' group [on the forum](https://community.tari.com/g/CoreContributor)
Assign it to the team member in charge of onboarding. If you're not sure who that is, confer with a council member.
Offboarding
When offboarding a Core Contributor, copy the following to-do list into a GitHub issue on the special_contributions repository with the title “Offboarding <Name>” and the following content:
The following tasks are required for CC offboarding. Please check each off as they are completed. When all have been completed, have another team member verify that all access has been removed as expected, and then close the issue upon confirmation. - [ ] Check the user's [Core Contributor listing entry](https://wiki.tari.com/core_contributors:current_ccs) and look at their access details. - [ ] Deprivilege the user from each listed grant entry. - [ ] Remove the user from the 'core_contributors' group on the forum - [ ] Remove the user from the 'Core Contributors' group on the wiki - [ ] Move the user's entry in the Core Contributors listing entry to the 'Previous Core Contributors' section
Assign it to the team member in charge of onboarding. If you're not sure who that is, confer with a council member.
